I guess i am confused by your comment. Are you saying that they are making fun of the perverted bibles? and that it is wrong? I am not saying that a person cannot get saved with another version but they are NOT the preserved word of God! I know that my God can use anything to bring someone to Him but that being said, I also stand on God's innerant word found in the King James version 1611. all others are no different then a fiction novel.JMHO
I also agree that there has been an obvious tampering and mishandling of the Word of God by modern translators in both the English and the Spanish bibles. Yet I must say, that if they were throwing the Spanish Version of the Reina-Valera 1960 (which now only-ists say it is corrupt, and which in part is true, for there are subtle changes in the text), I would have been highly offended. For it was that bible that brought me to our Savior. We must remember that God never leaves himself without a witness. The Spanish also did their own translation work with the Textus Receptus
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reina-Valera, so that the Spanish may have the Word of God in their language, and even though they did not suffer as much as the English, it pleased our God to give it unto us as well. With that being said we must now consider the reading of 2 Pet:
2Pe:2:9: The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
2Pe:2:10: But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
2Pe:2:11: Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
The way I see it, if angels who are greater in power and might did not bring railing accusations, then who are we to do so. Because we dont know the reason why God would allow man to tamper HIS word. The modern translators shall receive their just reward for misleading many. These things, I believe, we do not fully understand. It is MY PERSONAL OPINION that perhaps God would allow the many Translations for those who will pass through the Great Tribulation, for I am pretty sure that Satan hates all of the bibles and wishes he could do away with all of them. So since he cannot do away with the word of God, the next obvious step is tampering and corruption. Once I get settled in my new place Lord willing I shall put my thoughts on this matter on paper. Just so others can understand my point of view.
2Pe:2:12: But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;
2Pe:2:13: And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
2Pe:2:14: Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
2Pe:2:15: Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
2Pe:2:16: But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
2Pe:2:17: These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
2Pe:2:18: For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
2Pe:2:19: While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
