Put Your Trust In God ; Instead Of Man

It's been a whirlwind of activity in my life.
I haven't been around the forums as I should but for many reasons but that's the great thing about these forums. When we aren't here in person ; our words we have written still testifies of Christ to a lost world.

I just wanted to say thank you to a brother on these forums.
I know he wouldn't want his name or his deeds publicized but he has helped me in a dark hour.
For months , I've been traveling on a hope and prayer. My car troubles have multiplied themselves last year and after months of patches on my vehicles , both finally laid down and was put out to pasture. The repair costs just couldn't be justified for the worth of the cars because they were in need of major repairs which costs major dollars that I didn't have.
He knew we were struggling and gave me a car. Not just a car but probably the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. For that I'm forever grateful and a debtor to my friend.

People speak of brotherly love but to see a fellow Christian perform an act of graciousness of this magnitude makes my eyes swell with tears. I thank the Lord for him and his kindness.

We were at wit's end wondering what we were going to do.
We had never been in a situation where I didn't have transportation and the need was even greater to have something dependable because we transport our grand daughter a lot more now than we did before.
We trusted the Lord would provide and He did through a brother in Christ.

I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart!

"I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,) " (I Corinthians 16:15).

We think so often that our ministry is to reach the lost - but as a wise friend once told me, "People can not live by God bless you alone". How wonderful that someone that had in abundance was able to share of his larder.

"Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account" (Philippians 4:17).
